Who We Are

The Seven Seas Rowing Club is a circulating team of the world's top-level club rowers, national and world champions, Olympians, and Olympic-hopefuls. The project started with the goal to create a "Great 8+" for one race, the due to interest and enthusiasm, grew very quickly to four boats and two races. The goal is to create fast lineups of competitors from multiple countries and bring them together to race as one team without borders at some of the world's most fun and prestigious races. Each seat is typically represented by a different country and I strive to bring a heavy 8+ and light 8+ to each event (based on availability). Although boatspeed is a major factor in our lineups, FUN is the most important. This is a unique opportunity to race with guys from every corner of the world!

How It Works

  • There is a club unisuit  we race in unless otherwise decided
  • A beautiful Ade Lang club BLAZER is also available at a discount
  • Lineups are made based primarily on availability and 2k score. Be prepared to only get 1-2 rows in together before racing!
  • Rowers are responsible for getting themselves to races and we split hotel costs (usually at a discount)!
  • We race, have fun, and go grab a beer or two.

Heavyweights

  • 2k Standard: 6:10 or better
  • Scullers welcome!

Lightweights

  • Must be 72.5kg or LESS by race day
  • 2k Standard: 6:25 or better
  • Scullers welcome!
